Youth With A Mission DTS Sundar & Ida, Tamil Speaking SUNDAR WROTE: We wish you an amazing and prosperous New Year. UPDATE: Please continue to pray for us as our family struggles terribly with Covid19. Last month we wrote: We praise God for your marvelous ministry that you chose to do through us during this pandemic. You are being a blessing to many! We give all glory to Je*** for He has strengthened us to be a blessing to share His love to the people in and around our area. DAY CARE MINSISTRY: Due to this pandemic our day care center has been shut since April. But we were able to provide provisions, sanitizers, masks to the kids family’s those who are in need. Also we were able to meet in person there family and console them and counsel those kids family by the grace of God. CHURCH MINISTRY: This year I was able to share the word of God in various churches and online services during the pandemic. Counseling church believer’s families took place. Also we had the opportunity to encourage youth groups. That was a blessing to us and to them too. Seeing the kingdom of God build through this young generation was a splendid moment of accomplishment. We praise God for His work through us. GYPSY FAMILY MINISTRY: We continue our ministry and church planting efforts to the gypsy camp. Around 50 gypsy families were blessed by God’s grace with the necessary groceries. Praise the Lord! Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School Sundar & Ida - Home Page Tamil Speaking NEW EVENING DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING CLASSES- Please pray for our new Evening Discipleship Training Classes (E-DTC). We are conducting this Tamil DTS in a Padappai church. We have twenty students. Two are college students at Vincent and Vijay college and they have committed their lives to believe, follow, and live for Je*** They took baptism and each received a new biblical name to replace their name that was rooted in a Hindu God. Their name was given to them by the local Priest. TEACHING WOMEN THE BASICS- we are working diligently teaching poor women to read, write, and have the basic skills they need to have a better life in India. Through this, we have many opportunities to share Christ and counsel. Please pray for us! YOUTH GATHERING – We hosted a large youth gathering at in the fastly growing city of Vellore. Hundreds of leather and tannery facilities are around Vellore and nearby towns. The Vellore district is the top exporter of finished leather goods in the country. Vellore leather accounts for more than 37% of our country’s export of leather and leather-related products (such as finished leathers, shoes, garments, and gloves) We had great teachers and teachings, several practical counseling sessions, and times of seeking the Lord in worship and prayer. Many young men confessed and repented of secret bondages. DAY CARE – Our FREE Day Care Center is continuously reaching out to the poor single moms and poor families to care for the children. Youth With A Mission DTS Sundar & Ida, Tamil Speaking Greetings to you in name of our Lord. We thank you for encouraging us through your prayers and generous support. By the grace of God He has seen us through another season! The lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy. The past two months are filled with your faithful prayers and support that fueled the ministry. We give all the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ. Here are some of the highlights of our ministry. DTS In January lord helped us to provide Blankets for 50 Widows& Poor people, in Vadaku pattu village near padappai. This is first time that program was conducted at church and we preached the Gods love. January Batch of DTS we got 12 students and 6 weeks teaching over and we saw the good changes in the students life. One student he his handicaff in c hilled wood attacked by polio he have inferiority. Now he has self confident & growing well in Christ. DTS schoo l time we all went to outing place called Kovalam Beach all of them enjoyed lot. Even on that place a drunker was flowing in sea our students & staffs rescued him from sea we saved his life. FAMILY February 5th My birthday I turned to 55year old birthday celebrated with YWAM LEADERS, even one of the our ywam leader also had birthday on same day. DTS Praise God on January DTS we had 12students from different places of Tamilnadu .God had an ultimate plan which transformed their life’s we praise God…they went outreach to 6 locations .they started 4 cell groups &two children’s ministry At the end of this school-13 students including two pastors wife and one college lecturer joined DTS they had nice time of in DTS and went on outreach in to two team to twelve areas for ministry the brought a new hope in to churches by bring 15 souls were there was no one, also in one village church students trained the youths on “how to do evangelism” on upcoming dts pastors are willing to come …………..I praise for his mighty deeds.. TEENS CAMP It’s been God who brought 78 teens this year it was really a great blessing to see at end days the praise from the mouth of youths. .there was new topic like how to develop self confidence, Time management teens found it really useful for them. Indeed a pastor’s son Paul Moses joined DTS in Madurai YWAM after coming to teen’s camp. Youth With A Mission DTS Sundar & Ida, Tamil Speaking What do we teach at out YWAM’s Discipleship Training School (DTS) in south India? You’ll learn about God, you’ll learn about yourself, and you’ll learn about the world. You will learn about the God’s Nature and Character; God’s Intention for Individuals, Peoples, and Creation; God’s Redemption; God’s Family; and God’s World. Our goal is to teach this to the farming community in South India. People who do not have an opportunity for an education in the city. The Students Praise God on January DTS we had 12students from different places of Tamilnadu . God had an ultimate plan which transformed their life’s and we praise God. After their 3 months of lectures, they went six outreach locations. God blessed them and they started four cell groups and two children’s ministry in the farming areas from which they came. Reaching the Lost The students included two pastor’s wives and one college lecturer at the DTS. They went on outreach in to two team to twelve areas for ministry. They brought new hope into churches by bring 15 souls to Christ through evangelism programs. In one village church, students trained the youths on “how to do evangelism”. This excited some people there and they were interesting in the upcoming DTS. Even the pastors are willing to come. We praise God for His mighty deeds.
