We praise God for His many fold blessings and for partners who not only pray with us but also support us in many ways. It is our prayer that God blesses you and enables you to do much more for His glory. We praise God for the new academic session that we could begin from 12th June onwards. And we are glad to write June-July’16 report and some of the noteworthy ways in which we have received the Lord’s blessings.   New Staff: For quite some time we were on the lookout for a cook and a gardener, with much prayers and long waiting the Lord has finally blessed us with two new working staff to fill these posts. We praise God all the more for their commitment and dedication towards the Children’s home. Welcoming new kids to the home: This year the Lord has added seven new children to our children’s home from age 7years to 12years. We are glad that we could cater to most of their basic needs like giving them a neat haircut, providing clean clothes both for school and home, school bags, slippers, providing clean water and healthy meals. The girls are getting slowly adjusted to the new environment and coping well with the senior inmates. Rose of Sharon Newsletter Rev.M.P.Prasanna Kumar – Director Looking back into the year 2015 and a step into the new year of 2016, our hearts are filled with Joy and gratitude of what the Lord is during. In unison we proclaim, all what the Lord is doing is marvellous in our eyes. We are thankful as a family for God’ faithfulness and sustaining Grace. After the inaugural of the Children Home at Chenigunta we have taken one step at a time to establish thus far. It is been a fruitful and a progressive year with the developments that have happened and are taking place in the Children’ home. The Budding Nightingale Sisters Ms.Mamtha – Bachelor’ in Nursing: Mamtha is one of the two sisters who were struck with poverty in the State of Odisha came to our Children’ Home about fourteen years back. She has completed her High School an d she was enrolled in Bachelor’ in Nursing Program in C.S.I Kalyani Nursing College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu in the year 2014. At present she is in her second year of her studies. She is a hardworking student, during her studies she is encountering new experiences in the medical field (Formal medical procedures, Hospital visitation, interacting with Medical officials and Patients) The training is equipping her to become a stronger person day by day. Mamtha regularly updates us about her progress, by the Grace of God she is able to adjust in the new setup and has never fallen sick. Rose of Sharon Newsletter Rev.M.P.Prasanna Kumar – Director Greetings from Project: Rose of Sharon Home of Hope. We thank and praise God for the excellent result achieved by the senior girls of our Home, during the academic year June 2012 to June 2015. In Plus two Examination(12th Grade) both Ms. Mamatha and Ms. Hema priya passed the examinations and have already choose what they wanted to be in Life.  All other girls passed their respective grades and move on to the next grade. Healing Hands Ms. Mamatha has got admission to pursue Bachelor’ in Nursing at the C.S.I Kalyani Hospital which is one of the oldest  and reputed Christian Mission Hospital in Chennai. She is a resident student, her course commenced from August 2014. She is getting trained theoretically and visiting Hospital wards to start her practicum. It is a three year program. On her completion she will be a well equipped vessel to bring God’ Goodness and Healing to a broken world. Be Educated to Educate! Ms. Hema priya passed her 12th Grade exams and  joined a Catholic Teacher Training Institute in Chennai. It is a two year program. She will finish her program in May 2016. She is learning the art of dealing with children and empowering them. On her completion she will be a qualified primary level teacher. Please pray for these two girls that their noble professions will spread the kingdom of God. Back to School After Summer vacation during April and May 2014, all the girls returned from their native places/loved ones and rejoined school for the 2014-15 academic session.
