It is such a great joy and privilege share the power God in our missionary work since we arrived in Malaysia in 2008. It all began with God doing some amazing things with our finances and the government to get our visas to come here. Every day is a journey of faith as we work beside the poor, trying to model the Book of James, as we try to raise a family. New Church Started for The People Two years ago, I went to a church that had 25 members in very poor area. I was challenged to take over as the pastor/evangelist of the church. By God’s grace, the attendance has doubled and people are coming to know Jesus as Lord. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4 A New Church Planted I visited the village close by and God opened the door for us to plant a church in an unchurched area. The area is called PRAI. 75% of Indian people are living together. 60% are uneducated people. Church Planting & Mercy Ministry Mark and Hepsibah Greetings from Mark Antony and Hepsi. I hope you all are doing well. Here everything’s going well! By the Grace of God Hepsibah is getting better. We are very thankful for Dr. Boaz, the “right” diagnosis (rheumatoid arthritis) and finally getting the correct medication. PRAISE THE LORD! We are not thrilled with the diagnosis, we are praying for healing, but in the meantime we know God’s grace is good. Each quarter we need to go to Chennai (Madras) for check up and to see how the medication is working. This is very costly to us. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. Threats, Trials, Tribulations in Church Planting: The government in India has switched hands. In brief, Hindu Temples are going up and church buildings are being tore down. …Last month we conducted our annual VBS in the village where we are Church planting. Our goal for this year’s VBS was for 500 children, which is not unusual. However, we were not able to accomplish this goal. The village leaders and some who are against Christians in this area came and wanted to fight with me. They were not happy with the Christian ministry in their community. They were really upset! The children who were there at the VBS at the time were scared. The men were trying to make the children run, but children were not going. –We as ministers have to stand our ground in the face of this opposition! Church Planting & Mercy Ministry Mark and Hepsibah I great you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope this year held many blessings for your family and in your life. Our God is so faithful to accomplish His promises in our lives. Now we are looking ahead in our new year, and we trust that it will be filled with abundant blessings, peace, and joy in your lives. This past year God has used us in many ways here in Villupuram and also in Colochel. We have started a church in Villupurumat at the end of the year. The church is in a village about 15km from our home in Villupurum town. Colochel Church Planting Movement People are growing spiritually and they are starting to share the gospel themselves. They run all the church programs now without my presence. Please continue to pray for the church building work. We still need to finish the electrical work, flooring, plumbing work, and painting. Evangelism: This year we shared the gospel in many villages near Villupurum. More than 2000 people were able to hear the good news about Christ. We met a man named Siva Krishna who was 53 years old in a field one day. We shared about the gospel with him and he shared his struggles and his family situation with us. We explained that if you believe and pray to Jesus He can change your whole life. After that he said “I believe” and we led him through the acceptance prayer. Because of your prayer and your sacrifice with us, God has showed us much favour. God helped us host a Fellowship in villupuram and two youth camps one in 8/08/2015 in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. We held a second one in Thanjavur, and the third in Tamil nadu. Church Planting – And also God open a door in the Churches so that every Sundays I preach the Word of God in different churches and different District. I spoke in the Marriage couple seminar. There were 12 couples gathered. I spoke about intruders. And God grace we were started two evening service in two villages in villupuram district. There are 25 to 30 people were gathered each village. One fellowship in kelperumpakkam another in Salayapalayam. Also we started 4 Sunday classes in different places. From the four classes there are 120 children were came for Sunday class without fail. This month we were evangelist more than 100 peoples. Family News: David martin he is studying in second standard, he is very much interest to play cricket. By the God Grace he is doing well. Grace Martina was in fourth grade, she is quite busy in her school assignment. She was growing very fast. She is reached my solders. She is very much interest in dance. Hepsi working very hard, she is talking care family and Ministries. And also Day care and Tailoring, She is very busy from morning 9 a.m to 4. P.m. by the God grace is strengthening her. I taking care the Church planting and Evangelism, every weeks four days I will be in Villupuram and three days in Colachel for the Church Planting. This month is very important for soul winning without you I can’t make it. New Mercy Ministry to Start: Vision of the Mercy Ministry is getting expand day by day. Visited an elderly lady at her home who is sick for some time and gave her supplement injection and tablets. Primary Health Care School Needed: Leaders are very happy to bring the Primary Health Care School for the community. At this point our greatest need is to start the school is $5,270.00. I would like to ask, 5 churches to raise $1,000 over the summer through car washes, bake sales, and garage sales so that we can get this school started. The second greatest need is for students and a “man of peace” to welcome us and help us find a place to stay. This is a very important prayer need that cannot be overlooked. This would give your whole church a way to get involved with helping the poor! Reaching the Unreached Through VBS: We run the VBS in three different places at the end we ask them to come in one place for the final program and invite their parents.
