Mercy Ministry - Home Page Nurse Priscilla, Villages YWAM Campus Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! By the grace of God, The Mercy Medical Ministry has served many in Jesus’ name. The past five years in O*** has gone fast. God called me to this highly persecuted state to be a nurse in the villages located in the mountains where there are no doctors. Specifically, my Mercy Medical Ministry comes alongside the church planters helping them show love and kindness to the people. In five years, we have ran numerous medical camps, eye camps, and have seen God bring healing to many. This work of kindness helped the church planters plant five churches. Three are doing very well. Of course, there is always opposition in O***. Many people oppose the church. But God is in control. We show kindness. The Gospel is preached. We leave the results to Him. VILLAGE MINISTRY: These days are thrilling for us but He is always faithful to protect us from the animals in the jungles and from evil people. One village is actually 75 kilometers away from where I am staying so up and down the mountains, it feels like 150 kilometers. At the village, nine of them were baptized. Glory to God! Just before going to the baptism spot from the church, we lacked the van passes to the church. The Hindu official people came to visit the village. So with prayer, we quickly finished the baptism service and went to the medical camp. Performing the medical camp, we will get appreciation from the people but a baptism service...

Mercy Ministry - Home Page Nurse Priscilla, Villages YWAM Campus MEDICAL CAMP – By your support, we had 233 people came to our medical camp this week. Praise God! Towards the end, the person who gave us a ride in the auto decided to have his blood pressure checked. It was kind of a funny deal. He didn’t think anything was wrong with him. He was living a good Hindu-vegetarian life. Well, it was not big serious, but his blood pressure was very high 220/150. So we sent him to the hospital right away and made the arrangements for him to see a doctor for further treatment. We prayed to our Je*** that he would reach hospital safely. God answered our prayers. And he is NOW having to examine his heart, spiritually and physically. He is having to see his religious ways didn’t help his heart! Please keep him in your prayers as we plan to follow up on his whole being soon. We are safe from ‘Titili’ cyclone. By the grace of God ministry going well. 1. Medical ministry 2. Through the power of God, you helped saved many suffering lives from sickness, diseases, and spiritual powers. FARMING SEASON: It is getting into the rainy, hot in the days and cold at nights season. We are having some snow smoke appear. The days are from 5am to 7pm. The months of June to November are the harvest season seeding, planting and all kinds of farming work. Most of them have their own field work and store grains for the whole year. The food will last if there is not enough food the next year to eat. Some do not have their own field, but the community works together and they are able to work in another field and gather grain for the year. There is no income but the grain they harvest. As a result, the people start work at 5am and work very hard till dark. The flu, colds, body pains are very common. MEDICALLY HELPING 132 PATIENTS TO SURVIVE: Some had malaria, typhoid, the flu, and colds, body pains. One elderly man I will call SOORAJ. He is 65years old and suffering with back pain. SOORAJ was heartbroken and wasn’t able to stand-up straight because of the pain. He had been bent over the last after 10 days from the pain. He wasn’t even able to walk. I pray that may the Lord will continue to keep His hands on you and your house hold and lead you to build His Kingdom on earth by this work. This month is very important for soul winning without you I can’t make it. New Mercy Ministry to Start: Vision of the Mercy Ministry is getting expand day by day. Visited an elderly lady at her home who is sick for some time and gave her supplement injection and tablets. Primary Health Care School Needed: Leaders are very happy to bring the Primary Health Care School for the community. At this point our greatest need is to start the school is $5,270.00. I would like to ask, 5 churches to raise $1,000 over the summer through car washes, bake sales, and garage sales so that we can get this school started. The second greatest need is for students and a “man of peace” to welcome us and help us find a place to stay. This is a very important prayer need that cannot be overlooked. This would give your whole church a way to get involved with helping the poor! Reaching the Unreached Through VBS: We run the VBS in three different places at the end we ask them to come in one place for the final program and invite their parents. I pray that may the Lord will continue to keep His hands on you and your house hold and lead you to build His Kingdom on earth by this work. New Mercy Ministry to Start, People Dying: I will be starting Mercy ministry in Brahmapur, Kandhamal or in different district in Odisha soon. The place still not finalized yet. We wanted to start in Kandhamal but the pastors are not cooperate with us. Lots of details yet to finalize. Please keep this in your prayers. People are dying without hospital in remote villages. They need us. Because of the ground is spiritually hard, getting a Primary Health Care School going is very difficult. Through prayer, work, finding people of peace, and giving, we will start this year. Please pray that we are able to receive the house and the house hold things we need this year. Also pray that God leads students to come this year to the school to learn how to help the people who are sick and dying. MERCY MINISTRIES Priscilla, Orissa, YWAM base Thank you for your prayers and wonderful support this past month. Without your help we would not be able to share the love of God and deed and word. The following is just a sample of what you helped us accomplish. This young man name is Sooraj. He is a desperate street kid who needs a lot of help and discipline. Through some good people, Sooraj came to get shelter in YWAM. We put him to work to give him some responsibilities. Now he is doing Discipleship Training School. However, there is still some character issues to deal with. He stolen some of the student money and the base leader caught him. Please hold him in prayers. We are grateful we get to help him. Thank you Lord! We don’t stay at the base. We go out and do door to door house visits in different Tribal villages Child with Malaria fever, I advised to continue the medicine without stopping and gave some hygiene advice He and his wife has cold & fever; I advised them how to gargle in warm water and not to take alcohol Sharing the word of God and praying for people in different churches in Tribal areas is what we love to do.
