John Solomon & Family - Home Page Church Planting & Ministering to the Poor Undisclosed location Area of Malaysia Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. By the Grace of God, we are doing well. We hope you are the same. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT God has given us opportunities to bless the community during the pandemic. We were able to give $30.00 worth of groceries to 15 families. Some were single mothers, poor and needy. Counseling Centers - Most of the people have been mentally and physically affected because of Covid. Many lost their jobs. Many have committed suicide. We are counseling them so we can protect their life. We are sharing the good news from The Lamb of God, which is the salvation story from Genesis to Revelation. EVANGELISM By the Grace of God, we were able to share the Gospel with 100 people. We are trying to reach the Hindu seekers with the Lamb of God evangelism material. This is the best tool for Hindus seekers to know who the true God is. Two people have committed to baptism from this effort. Please keep them in your prayers. Many really wanted to become a Christian but their extended families are not allowing them, so they are living as a secret Christian. Please pray for them. We are living in a part of the world where there is only a small percentage of Christians. For these secret followers, Christianity will cost them everything so they are in the process of letting go of what is in their hands. DISCIPLESHIP During the pandemic in our country of M*, churches have...

John Solomon & Family - Home Page Church Planting & Ministering to the Poor Undisclosed location Area of Malaysia Greetings from Malaysia. God is calling us to reach the rejected Tamil speaking Hindu people living in object poverty and the unreached and unengaged group of Tamil Muslims with the love of our Savior Jesus. Our island has 35,000 Malaysian Indian Hindus with a 0.01% Christian population and 285,000 Unreached and Unengaged People Group (UUPG) of Indian Muslims. Because of the Muslim persecution, the Tamil Muslims are without a Christian witness. Our goal in 2021 is to plant the first church for the Tamil Muslims. Because of the persecution, this is an overwhelming goal. We are going to train leaders to do good works, manage and conduct prayer stations, run Bible distribution events, and direct and perform evangelism efforts among the Muslims. When the ground is tilled and ready for seed, we will be to present “The Straight Path” using select biblical references in the Quran as we teach our chronological Bible lessons With the Tamil Hindus, we let our Christian light shine by living the Letter of James to the poor, the widows, and the orphans. We are constantly feeding the homeless. We would like to one day build a refuge home for them. We are helping the orphans attend school by buying uniforms and school materials. If they are not educated, they have no hope of surviving here. Our outreach to the Tamil homeless Hindus is never ending. We supply food, like rice, cooking oil and doll on an ongoing basis. The lack of economic opportunities have created...

While he drove the lorry suddenly the pain would come and then he would stop the lorry be side of the road he would cry try to kill himself. He could not able to eat, could not able to sleep, he went many place to get healing. Also he went to a place of witchcraft, but no use. Then a few days later, SDR contacted me through one of our church member who was working with him. After that, we went to his home to pray for him. Church Planting & Ministering to the Poor John Solomon & Family in M________ I praise God for your friendship also I like to share what God has done in our ministry. His grace is sufficient for my family. His word is giving us strength and is guiding us to do His ministry. Plowing the Ground to Start Churches Two years ago I took over a church of 25 people in a very harden and poor place. By God’s Grace, this church has nearly doubled in size. In another area where there was no church, called PRAI. 75% of people were Tamil Indian people living together. 60% uneducated people. These people don’t have proper work, some go out for daily work and daily wages. Most stay around town to fight and steal from one another. We the help of the Lord we have 50 coming to church in this harden areas. Helping the Poor and Needy We look at the people. They are in a very bad situation. The tea estate and rubber plant they came out of is no longer in business and they have no other trade. We help them with rice and noodles and small kitchen things as we can. We are praying they can find another job soon. It is very hard to get job because they already very old so we are helping them monthly once. CHURCH PLANTING & MINISTERING TO THE POOR John S. and Family _ Undisclosed Location Greetings from John Solomon, Priscilla, and our two missionary children in M________! It is such a great joy and privilege share the power God in our missionary work since we arrived in Malaysia in 2008. It all began with God doing some amazing things with our finances and the government to get our visas to come here. Every day is a journey of faith as we work beside the poor, trying to model the Book of James, as we try to raise a family. New Church Started for The People Two years ago, I went to a church that had 25 members in very poor area. I was challenged to take over as the pastor/evangelist of the church. By God’s grace, the attendance has doubled and people are coming to know Jesus as Lord. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4 A New Church Planted I visited the village close by and God opened the door for us to plant a church in an unchurched area. The area is called PRAI. 75% of Indian people are living together. 60% are uneducated people. Most of the people don’t have proper work, so they will go make some kind of daily wages doing odd jobs for people. Because of the low income and lack of work, the people will steal...
